The Sensormatic SuperTag (pictured above) is unarguably the most popular tag on the market today.  These tags are equipped with Sensormatic’s AM technology, which uses an Acousto-Magnetic (AM) 58 KHz dual resonator.  These special components make it more difficult for potential shoplifters to shield the tags with booster bags so that they do not trigger the alarm of the AM Systems guarding the retail store exits.  In addition, the lock inside of the SuperTag cannot be released with a magnetic detacher or any other magnetic device.  A Sensormatic SuperTag Hand or Power Detacher must be used to release the tag lock, making the SuperTag more secure than magnetic release security tags.

E-Tag®

ALL-TAG® has designed and produced an AM tag called E-Tag.  The tag is fully compatible with Sensormatic AM systems. Additionally, our SuperTag alternative features a lock that can only work with the Sensormatic SuperTag Hand or Power Detectors. Therefore, our E-Tag provides a comparably high level of security as the Sensormatic SuperTag.  You can click on the link below for more information: https://all-tag.com/products/am-security-labels-and-tags-sensormatic-compatible/am-security-tags-for-apparel/.
